Derek F. • September 1, 2013Best playground experience I've seen for smaller/bigger children, with numerous slides, swings, model trains, buses and a bouncy track plus a carousel! Convenient parking lot adjacent to the park.
Jessie N. • May 9, 2010The Friday Night Contra Dance is fantastic. Great for groups of friends, solo dancers, those experienced and those who've never danced before. Wear COMFORTABLE shoes, pref w/ leather soles. Live music
James S. • September 6, 2014Porky the Litter Eater is a highlight (and hungry, hungry, hungry). Beautiful park with tons of trees and shade, lots of room and variety for kids, a train, and dog park.
Derek F. • June 15, 2013Nice, spacious neighborhood park with good playground for toddlers, tennis courts and wide open green space to run around and even camp with a tent, if you have a permit.
Maggie M. • August 29, 2021The trails are secluded and not always cleared but definitely worth the effort.

Alan C. • January 18, 2010The highest natural point in the District of Columbia is here, at 39th & Fessenden, at the north side of the park.
Adrianne • November 8, 2013Typical local park - no restroom, but sometimes a port-o-potty on site. Remember to reset the lights on the tennis courts or they will turn off and take a long time to warm back up again.
Rachael B. • November 22, 2012Great place during the warmer months to sit with friends, enjoy the weather, and sometimes listen to live bands play.
Ebrahim B. • February 19, 2018Parking along Clara Barton! Amazing views of the Potomac!
Bayard B. • April 28, 2012Dog run is open until 9am or so; most dogs and their owners are friendly, and there's lots of room to stretch.
Montgomery Parks • October 9, 2013Halloween "Eye Spy" trains begin running this weekend Oct. 12, 2013. Advance tickets available online.
Tiffany D. • August 11, 2011There are cute, tiny tables on the north side of the park, near the playground. It's perfect for lunch with the shade and nice breeze.
Adam • June 19, 2012For morning games, grab the home team bench, it's nicely shaded and has more space to move around.
Maggie M. • September 12, 2021Really pretty spot along the path, which is tremendously busy with both foot and two-wheel traffic.
Greg O. • January 17, 2013For a park in downtown Bethesda, it's very dirty. My dog is constantly finding trash, old food, cellophane wrappers, lollipop sticks, & other junk to try to eat. No one uses poop bags either. Gross.
